Ocean Koha Medical Coordination Limited is a New Zealand-based consultancy supporting enquiries and coordination for people who wish to explore medical care in China.
We help you seek information, communicate with hospitals and plan the practical details of your journey. Our brochure describes working with coordination partners in China, including China Medical Coordination. The provider and arrangements relevant to your enquiry will be confirmed before you proceed.
Our approach is personal and patient-focused, with support in English and Mandarin for individuals, couples and families.
We provide non-clinical coordination. Assessment, diagnosis, treatment decisions and medical care are provided by qualified healthcare professionals.

Discuss what you are looking for, your priorities and your general questions. This is a coordination conversation, not a medical consultation.
Medical assessment & hospital matching
Help organise and translate relevant records where agreed, and communicate with potential hospitals and specialists. Clinical assessment and treatment recommendations come from the healthcare providers.
Travel & logistics
Coordinate agreed practical arrangements such as travel planning, accommodation and airport pickup. Refer to official sources for visa requirements and confirm travel suitability with your clinician.
Hospital visit support
Arrange agreed interpretation, appointment coordination and communication with medical staff. On-the-ground support is subject to availability and the agreed service scope.
Treatment & care coordination
Support communication and practical arrangements during your stay. Your treating team is responsible for treatment, clinical monitoring and medical care.
Follow-up & return
Help coordinate reports, provider follow-up appointments and communication after your return. Agree aftercare and complication arrangements before travel; New Zealand clinical care is arranged separately with your healthcare professionals.

Are you a hospital or medical clinic?
No. Ocean Koha provides non-clinical coordination. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment or replace advice from a registered healthcare professional.
Which treatments and hospitals are available?
Our brochure covers cancer care, cardiovascular care, neurological conditions, orthopaedics, health check-ups, and fertility and women’s health. Contact Helen to discuss an enquiry. The hospital, clinician, treatment availability and eligibility must be confirmed for your individual circumstances.
How much does coordination cost?
Fees have not been published. Request a written proposal explaining the coordination fee, provider charges, exclusions and cancellation terms before agreeing to proceed.
Can I send medical records through this website?
Please do not send medical records, passport copies or other sensitive information with your initial enquiry. If documents are later needed, the purpose, recipient, consent and suitable transfer method should be agreed first.
What about follow-up care in New Zealand?
Follow-up must be discussed before travel with the treating provider and your own healthcare professional. Local aftercare, insurance coverage and costs should not be assumed.
